LKY Reflection - Shirley, Vernen, Benjamin, Marcus, Nikisha

Since the unfortunate passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, we've seen many people paying tributes to one of the greatest founders of Singapore. Queues have been as long as 8h long, even during the early hours of the morning. Many people have also changed their profile pictures on social networking sites to a picture of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and a ribbon as a sign of respect to him.

A common topic many bring up in casual conversation has now become Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his achievements, his life, and his passing. The radio and television also play solemn, melancholic tunes or air documentaries regarding his life stories.

Several of us have been planning to pay respects to him, either at parliament or at a CC. Most of us have also watched many of the tributes and documentaries that had been dedicated to him. Posts on social networking sites regarding our condolences to the Lee family as well as our opinions and final words of thanks to him.
